We went to the pumpkin patch in Bismarck last weekend with my parents. Kason had a blast!

So Waynesboro had their trick or treating on Thursday, the 29th. It ended up being a rather nice evening to do all the walking that we did! Here is my little dragon. He had so much fun and did amazing! It was "Trick or treat, please, and Thank you." And he would practice between houses and add, "Everytime"! So cute!!!

So we went to the Pumpkin Patch this past weekend to find our pumpkin for carving. We went with our new neighbors, Matt and Maggie and their kids. Everyone had a great time!

So we had a really good snow these last few weeks. Nothing like ND!, but it was fun! Had to take Kason out in the 'nnooo'! He really enjoyed it! Here he is trying to throw it up in the air, but it would only stick to his mittens!

We couldn't get him to stop looking straight into the light, so we taught him to shine it up at the ceiling and look at the spot. He still didn't understand that the spot and the light were the same thing, but at least he wasn't going to go blind staring into it! He will just have a crooked neck! Thanks MeMa and PaPa!

This is on Sunday. Because of the trees for troops, we received free tickets to hang out in the ESPN VIP tent before Sunday's game. Their guest of honor was Jonathan Ogden. He was being inducted into the ring of honor for the Baltimore Ravens!

So we took Kason to get his first hair cut! He did great! Just like when we go to the doctor, just sat still and was amazing! It look so good. I mean, there wasn't really a lot to take off, but it did need to be trimmed up in the back and around the ears. He is just so handsome!!!

Well, we had a wonderful time with Christian and Brannon here. They were able to stay for 10 days. We all had a lot of fun. We took one day and went inner-tubing down a river! Another day, Chris took them to the driving range to hit golf balls. When it was time to leave, no one wanted them to go. Not us, not them, no one but their mother! I think Brannon has called everyday since, and Chris and Christian have been emailing everyday. Of course I have a bunch of pictures. I just haven't gotten around to them yet. Kason started off with a cold on last Sunday, and now I am out of commission with it. Anyways. I promise to get them posted as soon as possible. Love and miss you all.

We took Kason to the Raven's Training Camp. They do it every year at the college right here in Westminster! It is open to the public and completely free! It is neat, they set up some stuff for the kids and such and you can watch them practice! No, not a Raven's fan, but it is still really neat that they do this right here!

Ok, so I have been really bad about pictures. We have just been so busy. I am working three jobs, Chris has been gone for work, and Kason is just everywhere! I do have some pics to post, but I haven't gotten them downloaded yet! I know, bad mommy! I have to take one more before I can post though. Kason had his first big crash the other weekend. We were walking into Target and he tripped and went down so fast and landed right on his forehead! Huge big red welt. I have a pic of it, but I want to take one of it now so you all don't think it is permenant.

Also, Christian and Brannon are coming up for a visit! Chris made a little bit of money from his trip to California. So we decided we really need to see them! We have them flying in on August 22 and they are staying until the first of September. They will miss a week of school, but their mother promises to get what they need and send it along for them to do here. I am so excited. We haven't seen them for over a year! They are going to be so big! I can't wait. And of course, I will have so many pictures to post!!!

Well, Kason's surgery went fine this morning. He is currently sleeping and acting like normal. He was great going under the anesthesia, but coming out of it was a little rough for him...and me! The doctor said that everything went great and Kason was wonderful! I am so glad it is over! Love you all!

Well, we had our appointment with the ENT doctor last week. He completely agrees that Kason will benefit from having tubes put in. We have his surgery scheduled for 15 May. I am nervous, but I know that it will totally help!!! Chris had a follow up appointment today with his surgeon that went really well. He is real happy with the results. He got the go-ahead to go back to work in two weeks....so the day after he takes Kason and me to the airport he will head off to work again! HA!

Just wanted to post with an update on Kason. We had his one-year well baby check up and everything is great! He is in the 75% for his height and 25% for his weight...tall and skinny! We have an appointment tomorrow with the ENT doctor to discuss getting tubes put in. He is running a fever again today so that appointment is coming at a good time. I will post again with updates. Chris is doing good. Driving himself crazy just being around the house all day! We have another follow up appointment with his surgeon next week Wednesday. Cherry is doing good after her surgery also. She has been home days also, so she has been keeping Chris company. I am really looking forward to our trip coming up! CAN'T WAIT!!!! Love you all and see you soon!!!

Sorry I have been so bad with posting. Been really busy with work and Chris's grandma has been in and out of the hospital since Christmas. Kason is keeping me really busy as his Chris with his back. Chris is scheduled for surgery on 3 March. Kason now has 8 teeth. Four on top and four on the bottom. All in the front. He is successfully transitioned to 'real' food now. He had spaghetti and meatballs with us the other night! Such a lover! He is still only saying 'dadadada', but I am getting used to it. Plus, he doesn't know what it means! He claps his hands and says 'Yea!', and he can cluck his tongue. We love our nightly bathtime and kisses! Love and miss you all and will be posting some catch-up pics.

Ok. Our Christmas was rather eventful. As you all may know, we have moved back on with Chris's parents. Well, Cherry received a phone call Christmas morning from the nursing home where her mother is. The nurse was telling her that Grandma's heart rate was low and she was pretty out of it and they were going to transport her to the hospital. So, Cherry and her sister and brothers head to the hospital to be with her. Chris and I and his brothers and their wives get dinner together and do the meal thing as the adults come and go in shifts. Sadly, we were unable to get a lot of pictures that day as we were pretty busy. So, below you will find a few from Christmas Eve when we opened the gifts from Mom and Dad and Ray and the family. Kason is 7 months today and we had our doctor checkup. He is 17 lbs and is 28 inches long. He has three teeth now. Two on the bottom in the front and the third has just started showing through on the top, front/left. I think his eye tooth. His doctor wants us to start giving him finger foods to teach him how to feed himself. Should be fun...and messy! He is pulling up on everything. I am certain he will be walking, or very close to it, by the end of the year. Trying to get some more good videos. Our camera is on the downhill slide to not working at all. Buttons keep sticking and such. We are all good. Getting settled into our house. Miss everyone!

Well, Kason has certainly mastered eating! He loves cereal and so far has eaten carrots and bananas. I think we are trying green beans today. I call him my little bird. His mouth just shoots open and you can't get the spoon back fast enough!

He has his first tooth! I felt it yesterday. You can see it just barely through his gum. It is right in the middle on the bottom.

We are moving into our own place this weekend. We found a house for rent here in Westminster. It is a small 2 bedroom house, but it is more room than we have now and it would be our own! Can't wait to have our stuff back.

Kason will be starting daycare October 1st. I am really nervous about it. I found a 'center' just down the road from our new house. It is an older couple that are retired and opened this daycare center. They are licensed for up to 8 children, but will not take more than 6. Kason will be filling their only slot! I am going tomorrow to see the place and meet the people. It feels good. I am really nervous, but this will allow me to work full time days and be home for dinner time and bed time.

We had a well-baby appointment yesterday. Kason now weights in at 15.5 lbs and is 27 inches long. His doctor says he is in the 50% for his weight and in the 75-90% for his height! She also said he is ready to start cereal! So....see below! He likes it and it won't be long before he is doing great at it!

Sorry, no pics today. Chris is taking the camera with him on his trip so it is already packed up. I do have to tell you that Kason is now reaching. When he sees someone or something he wants, he reaches out his arms and opens his hands real wide and will get this huge smile on his face! It is really wonderful. Especially in the mornings when I go in his room and he is all happy and smiley to begin with, then to have him reaching for me is just such a bonus!

Ok, we have hit a milestone! We are now, finally, sleeping through the night! We feed Kason as 9ish, and I don't have to get up with him again until morning. Of course, some mornings start at 5, but that is ok! Also, he is now getting up on his hands and knees. He doesn't do much while he is there but look around, but it is a start. I am working on getting a picture of it to post. Love you all!

New walker/chair. He loves to stand and bounce, so I bought him this. He it still about 2 inches from the floor, but he still likes it. We put a big phone book under his feet so he had something to touch. Too cute!

Wow! First off, have I told you all how he can now roll both ways? He doesn't just roll from his tummy to his back and become a turtle any more! Now he can roll from his back to his tummy! And boy is he quick when he wants to be! OK, so we had an interesting night last night. He ate about 6pm and went down about 7ish. Chris and I went to bed about 9. When the alarm went off this morning at 6 for Chris I freaked out. I made Chris go in and check on him because I was scared! The longest he had gone so far at night was a 7 hour stretch. Wow! What a night.

Well, Kason had his very first 4th of July! It was great! We walked over to where they shoot them off here in Westminster. He did great. I was holding him and he wouldn't take his eyes off of where they were exploding. They were pretty loud, but he didn't flinch a bit! Of course it is one that none of us will ever forget...on our walk home, we got caught in a tremendous downpour! Thankfully, the cover on Kason's stroller worked, he only got a little wet. The rest of us were soaked! But, it was fun!+
